Begun by Richard & Carol Broadwater, Amish Originals maintains its focus on personalized and friendly service that you can expect from a small, family-owned business. Located in Central Virginia, the business continues to reflect its authentic Amish roots which trace back to Sugarcreek, Ohio. It was here that Carol's father was born and raised in an Amish famliy.
Recognizing a new business opportunity where they lived in Virginia, Richard and Carol drew upon her father's upbringing and background in quality handcrafted furniture to open Amish Originals. That family heritage still plays a significant part in the success of Amish Originals, as many of the items carried in the store are made by Carol's extended family. All of the furniture from Amish Originals is handcrafted by the Amish in Holmes County Ohio.
